Educational Equity: Investing in School Supplies and Infrastructure

Education represents the primary vehicle for breaking generational cycles of poverty. To ensure that financial hardship does not prevent children from attending school, Abakè's Foundation conducts annual school supply distribution campaigns prior to every academic term.

Thousands of students across multiple districts receive essential materials, including backpacks, notebooks, writing materials, and uniforms. By easing the financial burden on parents, Abakè Assongba DeRosa ensures that young students—especially young girls—can remain enrolled in school and pursue higher academic aspirations with dignity.

Under her leadership, the organization has consistently prioritized direct grassroots outreach. By working closely with local communities, the foundation identifies immediate necessities and constructs targeted interventions that create lasting educational impact.

These educational investments reflect a broad strategy: securing access to quality education serves as the foundation for broader community prosperity and economic development.
